Open Enrollment for a 2016 health plan is over. But you may still qualify for coverage
You can enroll in a 2016 health insurance plan through Nevada Health Link only if you have a life event that qualifies you for a *Special Enrollment Period. If you have a Qualifying Life Event, your Special Enrollment Period will generally last 60 days from the date of the event. During this time, you can sign up for health care coverage or change your plan if you already have coverage. Important: you will be required to provide supporting documentation of your Qualifying Life Event to obtain coverage.

READY TO ENROLL?
Enrolling in health care coverage through Nevada Health Link is easier than you might think. You can find a broker in your area, contact a Navigator, go to healthcare.gov or you can call 1-800-318-2596.
Having these documents on hand when you’re ready to enroll can really help: Birthdates for all family members who need coverage, Social Security Numbers for all family members who need coverage, citizenship or immigration status and certificate of naturalization or immigration document number, if applicable, proof of income, health care coverage information (policy numbers for any current health insurance plans covering members of your household).
To be eligible to enroll in health coverage through Nevada Health Link, you must:
- Live in Nevada.
- Be a U.S. citizen or national
- Be lawfully present (to learn more about eligible immigration statuses click here).
- Can't be incarcerated.
